Bringing a perfect blend of musicality, energy and just the right amount of tambourine flair, Sally is one of Blue John’s vocal powerhouses. Whether leading a tune or adding rich harmonies, she’s as comfortable front and centre as she is locking in with the groove.
By day, she’s a dedicated languages teacher, shaping young minds and no doubt occasionally resisting the urge to turn every lesson into a singalong. Music has always been close to her heart, and alongside her vocals she’s a more-than-handy guitarist and clarinettist. Not one to sit still, she’s recently taken on drum lessons too—because why not add another instrument to the list?
Music is very much a family affair, performing alongside her husband Simon on vocals, forming a formidable front line that brings both chemistry and character to every performance.
Away from the stage and classroom, Sally enjoys a well-earned Guinness and spending time with the four cats who very much run the household.
